Don't Ignore the Signs.

Mold can be a serious concern for both residential and commercial properties, impacting indoor air quality, structural integrity, and occupant health.

Envirogyn offers comprehensive mold assessment and consulting services designed to accurately identify mold presence, pinpoint its source, and provide clear, actionable recommendations. Under Texas Occupations Code Ch. 1958 and 16 TAC Chapter 78, Texas legally distinguishes between the **Mold Assessment Technician (MAT)**—who performs field inspections, moisture mapping, and physical sample collection—and the **Mold Assessment Consultant (MAC)**—who evaluates analytical data, drafts legally binding Remediation Protocols, oversees post-remediation verification (PRV), and signs Section 2 of TDI Form MDR-1.

UNBIASED THIRD-PARTY SEPARATION Our assessments are 100% objective. By law (16 TAC § 78.54), an assessment consultant cannot perform remediation labor on the same project, ensuring zero conflict of interest.
SYSTEMATIC ROADMAP

7-Step Assessment & Resolution Lifecycle

From initial customer triage to final state-certified clearance, Envirogyn manages every milestone with scientific certitude.

01

Initial Contact & Triage

You contact Envirogyn to discuss your concerns. We triage the situation, evaluate building type, moisture history, and occupant symptoms, and dispatch a certified inspection team promptly.

02

On-Site Forensic Inspection

Our licensed inspectors conduct an exhaustive visual survey of your property, deploying calibrated FLIR thermal radiometry cameras and hygrometers to pinpoint concealed moisture sources behind walls without unnecessary demolition.

03

Mold Testing & Laboratory Analysis

We collect volumetric air cassettes (ASTM D7391) and surface Bio-Tapes. Samples are analyzed inside our accredited in-house laboratory (TDLR LAB #1050) under optical microscopy to identify fungal taxa and raw spore counts.

04

Comprehensive Report & Protocol

You receive a comprehensive diagnostic package with laboratory data, moisture mappings, and—if remediation is necessary—a formal Mold Remediation Protocol detailing scope, containment criteria, and clearance standards.

05

Mold Remediation (if needed)

If mold growth exceeds 25 contiguous square feet, an independent licensed Mold Remediation Contractor (MRC) executes physical removal under 6-mil poly containment and HEPA air filtration strictly following our protocol.

06

Post-Remediation Verification (PRV)

After contractor cleaning, our licensed assessor conducts independent clearance verification using rigorous visual inspection and follow-up air testing to prove that airborne spores have returned to normal baseline ecology (Condition 1).

07

Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation (CMDR)

Upon passing PRV clearance, we issue the official Texas Department of Insurance Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation (TDI Form MDR-1), granting statutory insurance protection and certifying property resale marketability.
